On Saturday 26th April 2025, the Choir held an amazing joint concert in Maescar Hall, Sennybridge with Onllwyn Male Voice Choir, and joined by the rising star and talented Mared Phillips, a member of Loud Applause Rising Stars (LARS). The evening was filled with music and joy, and the concert concluded with a moving joint finale featuring all the performers. It was a memorable night showcasing the enduring strength of male choral singing and musical talent.

The evening was ably led by local resident Gethin Havard who ran the evening so smoothly.

The evening helped to raise £500 for the Breconshire Friends of Prostate Cymru, supporting vital prostate health awareness and research in Wales. This event marked not only a musical triumph but also a powerful statement about the role of the arts in supporting health and well-being initiatives across Wales.

It was a privilege to raise the amount of money for such a worthy cause and to present a cheque to Gerwyn Rees, from the Breconshire Friends of Prostate Cymru, at Theatr Brycheiniog recently.

The Breconshire Friends of Prostate Cymru is a local group supporting the national charity in raising awareness, funding research, and supporting men across Wales affected by prostate issues.

Marc Williams, Secretary for the Aberhonddu & District Male Choir said:
"We are immensely proud to have brought together such wonderful talent in support of Prostate Cymru. The generosity of our audience and the hard work of all involved have made this a night to remember, for a cause that matters deeply to our community."
